Your very first time as a tea drinker might be kinda rough.
It's like, "Wait...there are no bags? How much tea should I use? Wait...wait...I need a what do ya call it? Infuser? Which one sh How the heck do I use this thing?"
Then when you've finally got it working, it's like...what happens if the leaves fall through these little holes? Can I eat them?" Lol. We've all been there! It doesn't have to be so difficult.
There are so many different types of infusers. We actually sell 2 different types on our site: an in-cup infuser and a teaspoon infuser. While they both serve the same purpose, they actually work better with different types of tea.
Our mesh in-cup infuser is my favorite because it can be used with pretty much every single type of tea, especially all of the ones available on our site. The teaspoon infuser is great for on-the-go use, but the holes in the infuser are a bit larger than you would for many teas. For example, it is ideal for teas with large pieces, like Red Bone, What the Flu?, and Grown. Teas with much smaller pieces, like Sister Sister, would not be ideal for this teaspoon infuser - those pieces will slip right through the holes in the teaspoon infuser. Nothing will be wrong with your tea, but it will settle at the bottom of the cup...and you could choke on it when you take the last couple of sips. Let's do what we can to avoid that.
Check out this YouTube video from me. I share all the infusers we have and my personal favorite. Remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel and hit that notification bell to be notified when we release a new video, with all the changes coming for Ivy's Tea Co. you want to be in the mix.
